(TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 - General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories)

Presidency of ISGUM has testing laboratories operating in the field of occupational health and safety which carries out measurement, analysis and testing services. A Quality Management System (QMS) has been established which combines central and regional laboratories under one roof in compliance with TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard and operates since 27.04.2009.

 

DUTIES:

  1. Setting up, following-up and developing of quality management system according to ISO 17025 for ensuring the safety of technical competence and measurement and analysis results in ISGUM centre and Kocaeli Regional laboratories.

  2. Preparing, publishing, updating, keeping records of all documents (Quality Manual, Quality Policy, Annual Quality Targets, Procedures, General Instructions, Experiment and Equipment Instructions, Task Definitions etc.) according to TS EN ISO / IEC 17025. Transmitting of all documents to relevant personnel and ensuring of all documents to be understood, accessible and practicable by the staff.

  3. Following-up of internal and external quality control activities and evaluating of results,

  4. Planning and coordination of laboratory internal examinations,

  5. Eliminating of nonconformity deficiencies and reporting to management and relevant departments,

  6. Following up on corrective and preventive activities,

  7. Performing the necessary data analysis,in quality management system,

  8. Developing of quality awareness and coordination of works on quality issues.
